Ed began his career in radio at 15 working for WBZ-AM, New England’s News’Talk powerhouse. By 17, he was program director for WBZ-FM, then owned by Westinghouse Broadcasting. In his early years, his radio work brought him to California as morning man at the SF Bay Area’s KBLX;  a Top 40 jock at Miami’s Y100, mornings at Tampa’a WCKX, and a stint at Q105; a second stint in Miami to as Program Director of WHTT; in 1982 he returned home to Boston MA where he spent 25 years as an on-air personality at Kiss 108 radio.

During his years at Boston's Kiss 108,  Ed was the fill-in host for Casey Kasem on American Top 40, and was the most frequent guest host for Casey, hosting more shows that any other fill-in in the show’s long history. Over the decades, while based in Boston at Kiss 108, Ed ‘voice-tracked’ daily shows in major markets across the U.S.A., including New York City, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Denver and numerous cities over many years. He has been a commercial voiceover talent for many years, voicing TV, Radio and Video Games, including several editions of Grand Theft Auto. Ed’s also the announcer on The National Marijuana News, where he is the glue that holds the segments of TNMN together.

Ed is the co-founder and director of operations for Receptive Audio, LLC, a company that creates custom radio and audio segments for national retail chains, including Dunkin Radio (for Dunkin Donuts), Savers, BJ's Wholesale Clubs, and numerous others. His hands-on approach keeps Ed in or near a studio most of the time. A mic is always nearby!
